Set 30 years after the finale of Sad Porn about the End of the World, this short story collection provides a snapshot of the "abdication of humanity." Where SPEW drew humanity into dialog with demons and oceans, the fairwell revelations introduce angels, deities, rivers and planets. The end is irrefutable. The end is here—but so are you.

SPEW2: The Horrors Persist, but so Do These Sluts

The material and abyssal layers of the world are locked in a death spiral. As humans surrender, Hell crumbles. As Hell crumbles, the world frays. As the world frays, humans despair. There's no way out—but "no light at the end of the tunnel" just means you're not paralyzed waiting for salvation. We can make meaning and find love even in the darkest hours of the anthropocene, and the cast of The Horrors Persist, but so Do These Sluts is here to show us how.

This book will be structured similarly to its predecessor, with approximately 10 interconnected short stories presented out of chronological order. It will follow characters new and old as they contend with fear and loss at every scale from the personal to the cosmic.

From the melancholy of demon misfits to the revolutionary energy of humans working to save Hell from its own inevitable apocalypse, this book expands on the themes of SPEW while insisting, once again, that we resist. It's a bad time to be a human. It's a bad time to be a demon. But it's the only time we have, and these sluts are going to make the most of it.

Sixteen Proofs Against Perfection

4 years after "Come Hell or High Water," Lamb and Hesther remain in an undefined, vibes-based relationship. When Lamb can't handle the ambiguity any longer, circumstances conspire to place her on a new season of Are You The One. Will she finally find her "perfect match?"
